Test Drive Unlimited was the first one in the slot. I'd played the PS/2 version before, but the next generation sheen really makes this something special. I've spent most of my time driving around in a Ferrari Enzo, enjoying the scenery and finding interesting locations to photograph. I've found that the delivery missions, where you have to drive a car or bike somewhere without damaging it, are the most lucrative and also a good incentive to drive safely. Project Gotham Racing 3 was the other one. It was one of the launch titles, and enormously polished too. The driving model is biased toward driving with style with kudos points being awarded for pulling off particular moves with panache. My preferred ride in this game is a choice between the nippy Aerial Atom and the Lamborghini Gallardo. Yum.
