Most people go through some sort of mid life crisis at one time or another. Richard Herrings' crisis was one of literally Herculean proportions when a failed relationship, a marble bust outside his new house and a number of odd co-incidences led him to undertake a series of heroic challenges echoing the twelve labours of Hercules. The show tells the story of each of the challenges - including running a marathon, sky diving, firewalking, running the streets of Pamplona in a pair of ladies pants, dating fifty women in fifty nights and the ultimate test of consecutive number plate spotting.
While the video is of slightly dubious quality it is perfectly watchable and well worth the £8.00 from GoFasterStripe.Com . This is the first of a series of comedy dvds and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I originally saw this show on stage nearly three years ago, and I wrote about it here ...

I won this dvd as a prize on the AC show and Herring has kindly written "6Music Sux" on the cover. You're right, it's a good watch. Slightly reminiscent of Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure, although Richard seemed to get though his challenge without the breakdown Gorman had.
What else have you got on your to-watch list?
I'm looking forward to the other two Herrings dvds, and I'm tempted by the Stuart Lee one too.
