Advent Day 3 : APOD

Astronomy Picture of the Day is one of my favourite photo blogs. Every day brings a new picture on a space theme, often of breath taking quality. They are accompanied with an explanation of exactly what it is that you are seeing, with links to further reading.

Today's picture is a wonderfully colourful time lapse exposure of star trails, with a very festive feel.
