Take me back to Tulsa

Last day of the hols, so back to reality tomorrow.

The major task for today was to take number one daughter shopping and then ship her back to uni with a car full of noodles and tins of soup, amongst other such student staples. The fields were still snowy, but the roads were largely clear so it was a pleasant drive listening to the Now Show and a Collings & Herrin podcast on the way.

I helped Alicia get herself unpacked and sorted, and cleaned some unknown, rapidly evolving life form from the back of the shared fridge before we could put her stuff in it. Vile shared kitchens are one aspect of student life that are fortunately not part of the Open University experience, thankfully!
