Daily Post - Monday

After three good nights of sleep, last night was an unwelcome return to restlessness. I really didn't want to get out of bed at six this morning when the brightest light in the sky was a very impressive full moon just dipping below the tree line like a fully operational battle station.

At least work was OK - I got one of the payroll specifications that I had written reviewed with one of the big changes pushed back to the release after next to give us a bit of extra development time. I also found out about some extra responsibilities that I will be taking on shortly that should be interesting, with new stuff to learn and some customer site visits to look forward to.

At lunchtime I went into town and walked all the way up to the far end of the centre to find the Whittards coffee shop in order to buy some gingerbread syrup, only to find that they were out of stock and not getting any more for at least two weeks. Bah. I was not amused. I feel knackered now as well - it looks like walking that far was a tad ambitious for my current energy levels.

At least it gave me the chance to finish listening to yet another live Collings and Herrin podcast, with the original odd couple of puerile podcasting on cracking form.
