C30, C60, C90 - Go!

Back in the day the humble cassette tape was a pretty cool bit of technology, particularly combined with the Sony Walkman or equivalent. They were cheap, portable and reasonably robust (except when you left them on the dashboard of your car on a sunny day). If you've never actually assembled a mix tape (or even if you have), then there's an excellent documentary still on Speechication about the disappearing art of the mix tape which is well worth a listen.
