Excellent fun at kobudo tonight - a good warm up session, then a complete run through of my Sai syllabus with Senseis Anna and Leila before practising their various drills as well. The jo level two that Anna was doing is certainly something to look forward to. Phil was doing all of his weapons including katas with a live sword for his second dan, and we all had a chance to attack him and be thrown, pummelled or otherwise mangled as appropriate. Hurrah!
I'm just marking time now, waiting for Alicia to call when she arrives back from a college day trip to York ... and that was the call, so I've just had another round trip to Hillsborough to pick her up. Time to sit down now and drink a well earned BEER.
