Crikey, it's a bit chilly out these days! (Insert obligatory jokes about Emperor Hirohito and seasonal underwear here.) I had to zip the fleece part of my winter coat into place before I went out for a walk tonight, and then wake up the central heating from its summer hibernation when I got home.
A warming bowl of thick vegetable soup and then out to kobudo - hurrah! I was training with Sensei Leila tonight, so we alternated between my yawari syllabus and Leila's sais where I got the chance to hit her with bo stick and sword. I think I've finally got the hang of the footwork for the yawari kata now and I just need to remember to start all of the moves from a snappy fighting stance. Grading in a week and a half - meep!
