The first rule of mix club is don't talk about mix club ...
The second rule of mix club is let me know if you are interested in swapping mix cds with random people on an occasional basis.
For each round that you opt into, the commitment is to send a standard audio cd to a randomly chosen person with a selection of tracks of your choosing. In return, somebody else will send you a cd which you will post a review of to let the mixer know what you thought of their mix. The mixer may also comment, to explain their choices. You don't have to mix to a theme, but there is nothing stopping you from being inventive ...
The objective is not TEH MUSIK PIRATCY!!! Hopefully you will hear music that you haven't heard before and get to share music that you enjoy, and if you really like something you'll go out and buy it.
If enough people are interested, I'll set up a collaborative blogspot blog to organize things, and do all of the drawing names out of hats and so on for as long as people want to participate. I'll need a postal address, but this will not be made public. It will be sent to your mixer so they know where to send to.
Who wants to play?

Me, too! Any problem with overseas participants?
No problem at all ... :-)
The deadlines should be reasonably flexible to allow for postage time. I've sent you an invite.
