For any fans of Guitar Hero out there, you may be interested in Frets on Fire - an open source guitar game for Windows, Linux and Mac OS/X. Well worth the download, if only for the rather amusing tutorial level. Apparently there is a large fan community, support for guitar controllers and the option to compose your own songs.
