Poisoning pigeons in the park

Twice a day for the last week or so, regular as clock work at sunset and sunrise we can hear a bird tweeting in one of the trees just over the fence in the park. This is not just any bird, oh no. This one has a cry that sounds like a cross between a car alarm and a geiger counter and is loud enough to wake me up or drown out the sound of the tv depending on the time of day. I am tempted to go and buy a BB gun, or maybe to follow the advice of the immortal Tom Lehrer and invest in some cyanide coated peanuts to do for the little bleeder.

In other news, the Blockbuster in Dudley was selling off loads of unboxed video games the other day at five for ten pounds. BARGAIN GET! I picked up Devil May Cry and Oni on PS2, and Max Payne, Indiana Jones and Project Gotham Racing for xbox. All good fun, particularly the PGR which now makes me want an xbox 360 with PGR3, and the iconic Indy that Jamie is now merrily climbing, swinging, jumping, whipping and punching his way through.
