We continued the exploration of the tower, discovering a corpse clutching a pouch in its hands. Grimbol picked up the pouch and looked into it finding an ivory key and a strangely spongy mushroom like object. However he immediately felt drained and was paralysed in a hypnotic trance. Ewell destroyed the pouch with his burning hands which released the enchantment

The level was filled with vines that seemed to be growing through doorways and corridors. Tamira started attacking the vines, but was unable to actually cut anything but it had the effect of tendrils shrinking back to a central point.

It looked like the source of the vines was a room with larger vines, holding corpses and bones. We skirted around it, looking for some way of defeating it, ending up in a fight with some thorn creatures who proved surprisingly tough, but we got the better of them eventually. We resolved to return to the panic room to heal up.
