It was a joy to return to this campaign after a bit of a break for various reasons. We picked up, deep in the dungeon under the Goblin Schmoblin castle where my halfling Krisanna was still suffering from memory loss (believing she was called Barbie) and attempted to bolt in fright. After being rugby tackled by Orla the elf, she reluctantly joined the the party as long as she was escorted to safety - a complete contrast to her usual reckless bravado.
After a bit of exploration, we somehow ended up following a passage ending up deep under the sea, yet somehow able to breathe freely. We found ourselves in the skeleton of a giant sea creature before being attacked by fish men led by Barry the wizard wearing a conch shell for a hat. RIP Barry.
We followed a comforting looking red light before realising it was coming from a lure being dangled by a giant volcano snail (or GIANT VOLCANO SNAIL!!! as my notes have it). We battled for a while until all of us were plucked up one by one and deposited in the maw of the beast. Looks like we have a *very* unusual dungeon to navigate next time!
