I came late to the Rivers of London series, only starting them last year after a recommendation in the Liminal RPG, and I’ve been mainlining them as audiobooks since. This is the eighth book in the main series and continues the various ongoing plot threads with some interesting twists and yet another killer cliffhanger ending. I can recommend the audiobooks narrated by Kobnar Holdbrook-Smith who brings the series to life, coping with some tricky accents in places.
