Yesterday was Alicia's birthday, so I drove back from Leeds via Huddersfield to bring her home for the weekend, complete with obligatory load of washing. It started raining on the way back and it was completely dark by the time we got home, so it was nice to get into a warm house and switch the light box on.
After the presents (including a much needed Macbook to replace her aging Sony Vaio), cards and a huge meal of pizza, salad and fried chicken it was time for cake - hurrah!
Today was bright and sunny, and I knuckled down to work on T175 : Networked living, finishing off the first weeks worth of study and the first part of the TMA by the afternoon. It's pretty straight forward stuff so far, but interesting as well. I'm looking forward to getting some debate going on the tutor group forum. Hello to anybody from the group who has followed the link to here!
After finishing work for the day, Jamie suggested a blast on Halo 3 co-op. We've not played this for ages, so it was fantastic to get back into Tsavo Highway on Legendary mode, sniping Elites and outflanking Wraith tanks to blow them up with plasma grenades. Aces.
