Yet another disturbed night of sleep, but I think that's due to this bug, rather than anything else.
I dosed myself up and crawled into work - I'd have stayed at home except for a meeting that I really needed to have to discuss different reporting options for our product, and a useful meeting it was too apart from the wodge of powerpoint slides that I got sent for info via email afterwards. One of them was a classic death-by-powerpoint fail with far too many bullet points per slide, stupid clip art graphics, eyeball melting colour scheme and a totally egregious use of the word 'paradigm'. I'm just glad that I didn't have to sit through that particular presentation.
I enjoyed last night's 'Micro Men' - a drama documentary about the cut throat world of the home computer business in the early 80s, featuring Alexander Armstrong as a very sweary Clive Sinclair. Funny and nostalgic, and worth a watch on iPlayer if you missed it. Oh, and apparently the scene with cutting the clock wire on the prototype BBC micro to get it working for the first demo is true. Aces.
Now to pick up number one daughter from Uni for her birthday weekend ...

Unfortunately iPlayer is not available to people who don't pay their licence fee...so that would be someone living in Mexico then.
