In case you've been wondering where I've been for the last month (Caturdays and Sunday Links excepted) this might explain things. The novel is La Serenissima if anyone is interested. I can only apologise to any Italian readers (~waves~ at mia_oia!) for any errors of geography, history, language and custom. In my defence all I can say is that I've written a historical novel by looking things up on Wikipedia as I went along.
Now it must be time for a drink!

Congratulations! I just read your last three chapters, which led to a satisfying ending. I was sorry to see Fletcher die, but it was a noble death at least. Good job.
