I'm tired.
The last week and more caught up with me last night and I fell asleep half way through watching an old episode of Black Books. I didn't even notice myself feeling particularly tired, but I just zonked out without warning.
It probably didn't help that I'd played Wii sports for an hour. I've managed to get my fitness age down to 42 now, which is probably about right, and then I boxed for four or five bouts. It takes a surprising amount of energy to keep the jabs and punches flying, and knowing when to duck and weave.
Talking of the Wii, it really is an excellent bit of kit. The controllers are very intuitive to use, and being able to fire up an internet browser on the tv without having to move from the sofa is very handy. Using applications like orb and wiisic make streaming audio and video to the wii a snap, turning the wii into a multi-media entertainment center by stealth. Eat your heart out PS3!
Gameswise, Zelda : Twilight Princess is superb. If I'm honest, it's really the only 'must have' game on the Wii at the moment, but what a game. I've just finished the first dungeon with a minimum of head scratching over the puzzles and one attempt at the boss battle. It's pitched at just the right level (for me at any rate).

I'd agree...Zelda is fantastic...and it keeps getting better. Some of the dungeons are great because they don't *feel* like dungeons...you'll see what I mean.
It's a shame there isn't more great stuff out yet but I'm hoping we get Super Paper Mario pretty quickly and I quite like the look of Eledees too.
