Work seems to be a little bit calmer this week, and I am finally making inroads in the to-do list from hell. We've got the big domain consolidation over the xmas period, but I don't think that will affect any of my systems unless they decide to change the server names for the sheer joy of it. We shall see.
The financial results are out, and they look pretty good - profits and turnover way up and a healthy orderbook. We've been rewarded with a rather nice xmas hamper from John Lewis that arrived this afternoon and hopefully I might even get a decent pay rise next year. Again, we shall see.
In other news, Frank the cat has got some sort of urinary tract infection - he's been widdling in the house and it looked as if there might be some blood in it, so he's now got some antibiotics which should clear it up with a bit of luck. Fortunately he doesn't seem to mind eating tablets if I hide them in his food.
