A good evening

After a typical day of fire fighting, trouble shooting and tail chasing I was ready to down tools for the night. As I set out to walk the dog, soft flakes of snow started drifting down out of a candy floss pink sky – a magical moment.

Things got even better when I got home, when we were all treated to fish and chips from the chippy down the road – yum – and we also got to listen to Banter on radio 4 whilst eating. Richard Herrings was on good form, although he managed to come last as usual.

While I digested my food, I settled down for an hour of Animal Crossing – ferrying cherries to Pigwood and returning with apples for a cool 7,500 bells a trip. I also now have a suit of armour and a ships cannon to decorate my lounge. I’ve got the final extension on my house, which I am turning into a robo themed games room with snooker table, video games and a mah jong table. The mortgage is scarily huge, but I don’t have to rush to pay it off though. Nook can wait for his 948,000 bells this time …
