Cold

I feel cold, and I just can’t seem to get warm today. I’m huddled up in my comfort jumper by the radiator, and I’m still shivering.

It’s been a frustrating day too – the Mac Mini seems to be running at a fraction of the network speed of the other computers on the network, and even half an hour on the phone to the technical support people trying the bleeding obvious, followed by a complete system restore hasn’t cured it. I should call them back and chase it up, but I can’t summon up the energy for it at the moment.

Tomorrow is going to be slightly weird as well. I’m going to visit the local office of the company that has bought out the company I work for, but we are going to be taking over their accounting functions so I need to go and have a look at their current systems to see how we can integrate them. Diplomacy called for, I think.

Animal Crossing update – won the fishing contest with a 95.5 inch tuna, sold a truck load of fruit, wrote letters to all of my animals to get rid of some of my junk furniture and clothes. I wonder if Lucy the pig will start wearing the beatnik shirt I’ve sent her?
