What a fantastic afternoon - glorious sunshine (although at 19 degrees this would be cold in Tijuana), good friends, a walk in the woods and a spot of swordplay. Fighting with a brace of rapiers is a whole different ballgame, but it epitomises the art of fence encompassing attack and defense in one fluid form. I want an extra rapier now (and a dagger and a buckler and a cloak and and and ...). As Rachel said, it really is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Fantastic!
