Boris the Spider

Hey waitaminnit! What happened to Wednesday?

Yesterday was one of those days where I didn't really have time to catch my breath. The usual early start, followed by an all day client meeting including a working lunch, meant that I didn't even look at Twitter for most of the day. I got out of the office at five, in time to get caught in the evening traffic - oh joy.

When I got home I knew that I had to keep moving, so I immediately got started on my EA Sports Active 2 workout. It was a tough one too, burning 160 calories (around half a Mars Bar, apparently), and I have now finished the first three week phase of the nine week challenge. I have been sticking to my patented 'no crisps, no sweets and no biscuits' diet and it is slowly having an effect, I think. My last weigh in was below 86KG and I might just be imagining it, but I think my waist is a little trimmer too.

Whilst I was attempting to send my heart rate off the graph, I set the iOS 6 download going on my iPhone and iPad, and it was finished at around the same time I was. First impressions are that it looks pretty much as before, which lots of useful tweaks and nice touches. One thing that I have been wanting for ages is a 'Do not disturb' mode that you can set on a schedule so that you don't get notifications alerts when you are asleep. Apparently the maps app has been criticised, but it looks fine to me - I tried out the navigation feature on the way to work this morning and it seems to function as a perfectly serviceable sat nav.

In games news, Temple Run - nuff said.

Wow! You should try breeding Boris with, say, a mouse.
